The USA Mens Cricket Team Creates History by Beating Pakistan and Canada in the Group stage and qualifying directly for Super 8 for the first time
The American cricket team is participating for the first time in the ICC main event of the T20 World Cup 2024. The USA qualifies directly for the ICC T20 World Cup without competing in the qualification round. The USA is the co-host of the ICC T20 World Cup, so they are qualifying directly for the event.
The United States is placed in Group A of the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 4 groups. The other teams placed with the USA in the group are Pakistan, India, Canada and Ireland. The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 opening match is played between America and Canada.

Eight teams will be playing in the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup, which is placed in two groups. The top 2 teams from each division will qualify for the semi-finals.
The USA is placed with South Africa, West Indies, England, or Scotland, which is yet to be decided.
