The Afghanistan Squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 starts on June 1 in the USA and West Indies announced. Some big names are missing as Hashmat Ullah Shahidi the Caption of the Afghanistan Team in the 2023 World Cup is excluded while Hazrat Ullah Zazi the former opener is included in the reserves.
Rashid Khan has to lead the side for the first time in a big ICC Event, while Rahmanullah Gurbaz is to back Rashid Khan as Vice caption.
