Benefits of Latvian Government Scholarship 2024
- Free Tuition fee

- Bachelor’s students will receive a stipend worth €500 per month
- Masters’ students will receive a stipend worth €600 per month
- Ph.D. and research students will receive a stipend worth €700 per month
Eligibility criteria for Latvian Scholarship
- Bachelor students who complete at least one academic year of their study at any of their home Higher education institutions (HEI)
- Masters and Ph.D. students from any previous (HEI)
- Applicants must be from Latvian government scholarships eligible countries
- Applicant must have a strong academic background
- Applicant should fit both mentally and physically
Documents Required
- Copy of the letter from Higher education institution (HEI)
- Letter of motivation
- Study plan
- Proof of education
- Curriculum Vitae (Europass format)
- Letters of recommendation (at least two from academic staff members signed within the last six months)
- Copy of language certificate
- Copy of ID or Passport
Awarded period for the Latvian government scholarships
- For Bachelors students the time is up to 10 months
- For PhD students, the time is up to 11 months
If a student wants to stay for one more year, He/she can reapply for Latvian government scholarships.
Application Period for Latvian scholarships
The online Application portal will be open from 1st February to 1st April 2024 students can submit their application within the required time.
